Nanchang State-level Economic and Technological Development Zone
   Founded in June 1992, Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ET Zone) was approved as a state-level economic and technological development zone by State Council in 2000. Within the ET Zone, there are also Jiangxi (Nanchang) Taiwanese Businessmen Industrial Park, and Nanchang Bonded Logistics Park integrating logistics of airway, seaway and railway. ET Zone ranked the third in terms of comprehensive competitiveness in the comprehensive appraisal carried out by State Ministry of Commerce on the investment environment of state-level development zone in central and west regions, and two indicators of operation costs and technological innovation ranked the first. At present, ET Zone has formed five backbone industries, i.e. automobile manufacturing represented by JMC Landwind SUV, Kama Passenger Car, Getrag Transmission and Mahindra Tractor, household appliances represented by Haili electronic appliance, Aux air-conditioning and Zerowatt refrigerator,, electronic information represented by Shenji Technology, Dongkai International, Kamudanke, Jingzhan Technology and Fuchang Technology, biology and pharmacy and chemistry represented by Lijian Pharmacy, Silinco and Suke’er, and new materials represented by Nanchang Cemented Carbide, Jiangxi Chenming Paper and Nanchang Dahongren Tubes Co., Ltd..
